What You Get To Do Facilitate training using approved SOPs, lesson plans and other training resources provided to ensure ambassadors are comfortable working in their assigned area or with their assigned equipment. This training will certify, test, audit, and properly document, as required, the ambassadors training according to the Standard Operating Procedures of the assigned area or equipment Ensure that the ambassadors receive the highest quality training related to safety and guest service Observe ambassador's performance and supplement training on a continuous basis Role model daily operations and procedures in completing your responsibilities as an EMT/Paramedic Participate and assist with required compliance training, including evacuation drills and OSHA training. Maintain a safe work environment and identify potential safety hazards. Perform other duties as assigned What It Takes To Succeed Be at least 18 years of age Be a current EMT/Paramedic at the park and meet all the requirements of that role. Be in good standing (cannot have written warning or higher level of corrective action). Be able to thoroughly and effectively train new ambassadors in proper area procedures, safety procedures, and proper guest services Have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to provide exceptional guest service Be able to maintain composure in stressful situations, multitask, make quick decisions, troubleshoot problems with training, and adapt to changes in a fast-paced work environment Be able to train on and properly use protective gear Be able to work independently with little to no supervision Be able to work in a team environment The perks of the position: Ambassadors will enjoy a fun, fast-paced environment, and great teammates, as well as: FREE park admission Discounts on park admission tickets and passes for family and friends Park discounts on food, merchandise, etc. Scholarship opportunities Exclusive employee events and giveaways EEO Employer SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
