The RN Clinical Nurse specializes in acute care, specifically in orthopedics, providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within a collaborative interdisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using critical thinking and individualized care. Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to patient needs and preferences. Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and goal-setting.
Coordinate safe, quality care through interdisciplinary collaboration and timely documentation. Support performance improvement initiatives, research utilization, and evidence-based practice. Mentor and serve as a preceptor for peers and students, promoting professional development.
Participate in protocol development, resource management, and system-wide quality initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
Associate or Bachelor's nursing degree preferred. Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required. Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments, demonstrating critical thinking and emergency response capabilities. Proficiency in technology and basic computer skills.
