RN - Acute Care - Ortho Surgical - Full-time Day Shift

The RN Clinical Nurse specializes in acute care, specifically in orthopedics, providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within a collaborative interdisciplinary team. They practice according to evidence-based standards, uphold the nursing scope of practice, and adhere to professional, legal, and ethical guidelines.

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using critical thinking and individualized care. Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to patient needs and preferences. Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and goal-setting.

Coordinate safe, quality care through interdisciplinary collaboration and timely documentation. Support performance improvement initiatives, research utilization, and evidence-based practice. Mentor and serve as a preceptor for peers and students, promoting professional development.

Participate in protocol development, resource management, and system-wide quality initiatives.

Associate or Bachelor's nursing degree preferred. Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required. Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments, demonstrating critical thinking and emergency response capabilities. Proficiency in technology and basic computer skills.
