About the Role
As a Weekday On-Call RN , you'll be an essential source of comfort and support for hospice patients and their families during the evening and overnight hours. This position is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM. You'll provide responsive, compassionate nursing care while helping patients and families feel supported, informed, and cared for when they need it most.

What You'll Do
Provide Compassionate Clinical Care
- Provide hands-on nursing care based on physician orders.
- Respond to urgent patient and family needs during your on-call hours.
- Provide calm, expert care and reassurance during evening and overnight hours.
- Help ensure patients receive consistent, high-quality hospice care.
Educate & Support Patients and Families
- Provide education and emotional support related to end-of-life care, disease progression, self-care, and nutrition.
- Answer questions and provide reassurance to patients and their loved ones.
- Serve as a trusted source of support during challenging moments.
Collaborate with Your Hospice Team
- Collaborate with the full hospice team to ensure consistency and quality of care.
- Communicate patient needs and changes appropriately with the care team.
- Support continuity of care throughout your on-call window.
Required Qualifications
- Current Georgia RN license.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation and auto liability insurance.
- Strong communication skills and clinical competence.
- Commitment to the hospice philosophy.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least two years of clinical nursing experience.
- Hospice or home health experience.
