About this role
Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for an experienced Nurse who is interested in transitioning to the ED specialty to participate in our Fellowship program that begins March 2027 . Eligible Nurses will qualify for sign on and relocation bonuses.

Schedule option: Full Time, Days (7am-7pm) or Mids Shifts (10am-10pm & 11am-11pm) or (1pm-1am & 3pm-3am) with weekend rotations and call. During orientation will rotate through all shifts (Days, Mids, and Nights).

Emergency Room Nurse Fellow
Responsibilities
- Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.
- Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.
- Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes
Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.

Experience
A minimum of one year as a Registered Nurse.
Education
Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Associate's Degree. If RN has an Associate's Degree, within 2 years of date of hire, they must meet with their nurse leader and conduct the following: 1.) Identify which accredited school they plan to attend 2.) Provide a written plan with anticipated BSN completion date 3.) Submit a review of transcripts from the school indicating the required pre-requisites and timeline for taking the courses 4.) Complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN. BLS from American Heart Association
