The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our clinical leadership team. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department while ensuring the highest standards of resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff support.

Responsibilities Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily nursing department operations Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure quality resident care Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and staff development initiatives Conduct clinical rounds and address resident care concerns promptly Assist with infection control, quality assurance, and risk management programs Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families Help ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation Support survey readiness and compliance efforts Participate in on-call rotation as needed Qualifications Current and active RN license in the state of Florida Previous nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred Strong knowledge of nursing practices and regulatory compliance Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment Compassionate and resident-centered approach to care Must successfully pass a Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida regulations Benefits Competitive compensation package Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holiday pay 401(k) retirement plan Opportunities for career advancement and professional development Supportive and collaborative work environment Additional Information
