About this role
As our Critical Care Clinical Nurse Educator (ED/ICU), you will provide staff development expertise in the assigned specialty as an educator, expert clinician, consultant, facilitator, change agent, leader, patient advocate, and researcher. You will support the clinical and professional development of the assigned staff, with a goal of achieving excellence in the delivery of evidence-based nursing practice.
Every day, you will facilitate the educational process through assessment, development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of competency, continuing education, and professional development.
To be successful in this role, you will combine strong organizational and presentation skills with a deep understanding of healthcare education, a passion for teaching, and the ability to effectively engage and train diverse groups of healthcare professionals and staff.
The Critical Care Clinical Educator will have responsibilities for Dignity Health St. Rose Dominican Rose De Lima Emergency Services and Dignity Health St. Rose Dominican San Martin Emergency Services and Intensive Care units. In addition, as a role model of professional behavior, the Critical Care Clinical Educator (ED/ICU) assists in creating a professional nursing climate and supports the SRDH mission, vision, and values. The Critical Care Clinical Educator will directly report to Education leadership.
