Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center is the South Metro area’s full-service medical center, with the friendly feel of a community hospital and the skill and services of a much larger medical center. Your Role as a Registered Nurse (RN)

As a vital member of our health care team, you’ll provide top-notch patient care within your assigned department or unit. Working closely with clinical managers and other healthcare professionals, you’ll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, always ensuring the highest standards of safety and compassion.

This is your chance to take ownership of your patients’ care and make a lasting impact on their health and well-being. You’ll work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and support staff to create comprehensive care plans and deliver the best outcomes.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional patient care within your assigned department/unit. Collaborate with the health care team under the guidance of the clinical manager or designee. Adhere to the Standards and Scope of Practice for Registered Nurses. Assess, analyze, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Follow established patient care standards for Legacy Health System, including patient assessment and transfer protocols.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

Education

Graduation from an accredited nursing program as required by licensure. BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) is strongly preferred. If you’re working towards your BSN, we encourage you to apply! For certain roles, a BSN is required. We also consider RNs without a BSN based on clinical experience and with approval from the Chief Nursing Officer.

Experience

At least one year of nursing experience, or completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program (or equivalent program). Preferred: Labor & Delivery experience

Skills & Qualities

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to connect effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. Ability to navigate and utilize electronic health systems. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities — because in this role, every day is different, and your expertise will make all the difference.

Qualifications

American Heart Association BLS required. American Heart Association NRP required. May be hired with AHA/AAP Essential NRP, but must obtain Advanced NRP within 6 weeks or completion of orientation, whichever is longer.

Travel nurses may continue to have Essential NRP if not performing in Charge, Neonatal Resuscitation, Baby, or NICU RN roles. If recovering OB or Surgical patients, American Heart Association ACLS within 6 months of hire. STABLE within 6 months of hire.

Advance Fetal Monitoring Course within 6 months of labor training. Ability to Scrub or scrub training within 6 months of hire (specific for Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital). Refer to Womens Education Plan for ongoing competencies.

Licensure

Current applicable state RN license required. AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers.
