Day to day: medical surveillance: physicals, respirator fit, audiometric and pulmonary testing
Day to day: OSHA 300 injury logs Maintain OSHA injury and illness records, including OSHA 300 logs and related documentation.
Day to day: incident investigations Assist with incident investigations and identify injury prevention opportunities.
Day to day: employee wellness and preventive health programs Promote employee wellness and preventive health initiatives.
Day to day: safety, ergonomics and health education for employees Provide education on workplace safety, ergonomics, and health awareness.
Day to day: injury trend and absenteeism reports Analyze injury trends and generate reports related to workers' compensation, absenteeism, and health metrics.

The Occupational Health Nurse is responsible for leading and coordinating occupational health programs within a chemical manufacturing environment. This role provides clinical care for workplace injuries and illnesses while managing workers' compensation, disability administration, leave management, medical surveillance, and employee wellness initiatives. The position partners closely with Human Resources, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Operations, and leadership to promote a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace. Nurse Practitioners are preferred; however, experienced Registered Nurses with occupational health or industrial nursing experience are encouraged to apply.
