About this role

United Energy Workers Healthcare is searching for dedicated and empathetic Registered Nurses to join their team as 1099 Independent Contractors, bringing comfort and exceptional care directly to the homes of those who need it most. Responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments, educating patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention, providing assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), coordinating schedules with patients, monitoring and reporting changes in patient symptoms or behavior, administering medications and treatments, communicating with Case Managers and collaborating physicians, maintaining accurate patient logging in EMR system, and providing emotional support to patients and family members.

Requirements

  • Valid and active RN License in state of practice
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Ability to pass state & federal background check
  • Malpractice Insurance required
  • Willingness to travel to patients' homes
  • In-home healthcare experience
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
