Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides leadership within healthcare teams by establishing personalized relationships with patients and their support systems. They collaborate with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that promote health or support peaceful end-of-life care. The RN utilizes evidence-based practices and compassionate communication, taking responsibility for managing and delivering care according to policies and procedures.
Responsibilities Include
Engaging in rotations across different units within a specialty area, such as Critical Care, Emergency, or Women’s and Children’s. Identifying team dynamics and leadership styles to determine the best fit within a specific unit. Contributing to a safe, inclusive environment that emphasizes quality patient care and community involvement. Supporting a culture of diversity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate of an accredited nursing school; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. Current valid North Carolina nursing license or multi-state/compact license. Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred. Ability to work full-time on day shifts, with flexibility for rotations across units. Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and delivering exceptional patient experiences.
