Registered Nurse (RN) - Hand Surgery

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care. They perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices and promoting individualized care that respects cultural diversity. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and document safe patient care, fostering teamwork and respectful communication. Partner with patients and families to align care with their goals through effective communication and education. Support performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives. Mentor and serve as a preceptor to develop a qualified workforce. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of an associate or diploma in nursing; bachelor’s preferred. Current RN license in Georgia with active BLS certification; ACLS/PALS may be required. Experience in direct patient care; specialty experience beneficial. Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills. Proficiency with technology and documentation tools; ability to respond effectively in emergencies.
