About this role
Performs an age specific plan of care for designated group of patients using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Collaborates with physicians and other health team members in coordinating and implementing procedures and treatments. Conducts patient interviews, assesses gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal and neurological health status, administers medications, performs patient and family education, and participates in discharge planning.
Requires graduate from accredited School of Nursing, current NY State RN license, BSN preferred or must be enrolled in BSN program within 2 years and obtain within 5 years.
