Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 4x10hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Jun 1, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position at a community hospital in Yakima, WA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience and active WA or compact RN license.
Details Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a 226-bed non-profit community hospital featuring 2 procedure rooms and 5 pre/post care holding bays Patient population includes cardiac diagnostic and intervention, implantable devices, EP mapping and ablation, vascular diagnostic and intervention, and interventional radiology EMR systems used: Epic and Merge 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 40 hours per week No weekend rotation — weekends are covered by on-call only On-call requirement: approximately every 4th weekend from Friday at 5:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM Weekday on-call: one call shift per week from end of shift until 7:00 AM the following morning No floating required Requirements Active WA state or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required Proficiency in administering and monitoring conscious sedation Skills in patient assessment and clinical status monitoring Knowledge of medications used in the Cath Lab setting Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and hemodynamic support Strong communication skills with patient care teams, patients, and families At least one professional reference from a supervisor or above (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, etc.) required for consideration, with a second reference required prior to start Additional Information Navy scrubs are provided by the facility First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
