Texas index 97.1, where 100 is the national average.
Flower Mound sits along the northern shore of Grapevine Lake, offering a relaxed suburban setting roughly 30 minutes from Dallas–Fort Worth. Oak-heavy residential streets, lakeside trails, and a quieter pace attract nurses wanting space between shifts. Easy highway access keeps major medical centers reachable for commuters who prefer sleeping outside the city proper.

Home Health is a specialty you move into. Agencies want acute time first, then train the home-specific work.
Worth asking
The posting doesn’t answer these. Good ones to ask a recruiter or in the interview.
- Can you walk me through differentials?
- What should I expect for shifts, weekly hours, weekend, holiday, and rotation?
- What orientation, preceptor time, and ongoing unit support are included?
- How are patient load, floating, and staffing support handled day to day?
