This position is responsible for coordinating trauma care management across the continuum of trauma care, including planning and implementing of clinical protocols / practice management guidelines, monitoring care of in-hospital patients, and serving as a resource for clinical practice.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state or multi-state RN license through enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification or obtain within 30 days of hire
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification or obtain within 30 days of hire
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification or obtain within 30 days of hire
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) through Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) within 30 days of hire
Three (3) years trauma clinical experience (Emergency Department or Critical Care)
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
Preferred: CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) or CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)
