Responsibilities and Skills
Administer intravenous (IV) medications and therapies according to established protocols and provider order.
Monitor patients for adverse reactions during infusion therapy and respond appropriately.
Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medication administration, and potential side effects.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in electronic health records.
PDF editing and basic computer skills.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Conduct assessments of patients’ health status, including vital signs and overall well-being.
Stay informed about current best practices in infusion therapy and participate in ongoing professional development.
Travel to patients’ homes across Cleveland, OH and surrounding areas to start and monitor IV medications
Perform focused assessments, troubleshoot line issues, and teach patients & families about the medication
Must be accessible and have outstanding communication skills (required).

Living in Cleveland
Cleveland is a Lake Erie hospital city: Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals sit in University Circle, so nurses can walk from University Circle or Little Italy, take the RTA Red Line from Ohio City’s West 25th station, or drive 10–15 minutes from Tremont, Gordon Square, Edgewater, or Kamm’s Corners. Housing is the other distinction—city three-bedrooms listed around $134,900 in mid-2026, mostly older houses and doubles, with Downtown as the high-rise exception. Culture punches above the rust-belt stereotype: Playhouse Square, a free Cleveland Museum of Art, the Rock Hall, West Side Market, Guardians baseball, and Edgewater Beach. Ohio City and Tremont concentrate restaurants and nightlife. Tradeoffs are real: long gray lake-effect winters, a car for most of the city, and crime that is sharply neighborhood-specific. Summers, Metroparks, and Cuyahoga Valley National Park are why people stay. Visit in January and pick a named neighborhood, not a metro average.
