Job Type: Part-Time / PRN Shift: 12-Hour Weekend Night Shifts and 12 hours evening shifts

1st Choice 4 All Home Care Inc. is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care to a pediatric client with complex medical needs in the comfort of their home.

We are currently hiring for 12-hour evening and weekend night shifts in the South Metro area. Candidates with pediatric nursing experience, particularly caring for children with tracheostomies and ventilator dependence, are strongly preferred. Somali-speaking candidates are also preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to a pediatric client according to the individualized plan of care.

Monitor respiratory status, vital signs, ventilator function, and changes in the client's condition.

Perform tracheostomy care, suctioning, and ventilator management as ordered.

Administer medications, enteral feedings, and prescribed treatments.

Provide G-tube/J-tube care and monitor feeding tolerance.

Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in condition and medical emergencies.

Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.

Communicate effectively with the family, healthcare providers, and nursing supervisor.

Follow infection-control procedures, safety protocols, and agency policies.

Qualifications

Required

Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Current CPR/BLS certification.

Strong clinical assessment and nursing skills.

Ability to work independently in a home care setting.

Dependability and excellent communication skills.

Preferred

Pediatric nursing experience.

Experience caring for pediatric clients with tracheostomies and ventilators.
