RN Supervisor

Summary

The RN Supervisor coordinates the administrative and clinical functions for a defined resident population and time frame to ensure an effective and efficient environment for residents, family, and staff.

Essential Duties and

Responsibilities

Ensure nursing operational standards are met Provide reports on productivity, quality, and customer service metrics Inform family members about medical procedures and doctors' instructions Handle complaints or other issues Establish a compassionate environment by providing psychological support to patients, family, and friends Keep records of nurses' files, patients' cases, and procedures Handles Admissions Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

2-4 years' experience providing direct care to multiple patients/residents preferred; previous experience in Skilled Nursing environment desirable; previous supervisory experience strongly preferred Nursing degree from accredited college or graduation from approved RN program required Must possess current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in California Current valid CPR certification required
