About this role
The Nurse Coordinator RN is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all clinical support activities in the Practice. Responsible for providing professional clinical assistance to patients within the practice supporting the physicians. Working directly with the physicians is the liaison between the patient and the physicians for establishing and maintaining quality patient care. Responsible for performing all duties in accordance with clinic protocols and procedures. Department: Bone and Joint Center.
Schedule
Full Time. Essential responsibilities include: providing superior customer service, utilizing clinical teamwork to oversee interdisciplinary plan of care, assessing patient and family, planning and implementing clinical care, documenting according to practice policies, providing education/consultation, demonstrating effective leadership skills, assisting with staffing levels and recruitment, maintaining adequate medical supply and pharmaceutical inventory, ensuring practice meets all code and accreditation standards (OSHA, DPH, JCAHO, CLIA, HIPAA), administering vaccinations and injections, administering infusions and biologics, triaging telephone calls and scheduling urgent care appointments.
