Level 1 Trauma Center with 41 operating rooms
1:1 patient ratio
Day shift, 12-hour shifts (0645 start), 3x per week
Occasional float to 0845 and 1045 starts
Occasional float to night shift, no more than 3 shifts per contract
Float to other UCH ORs within scope as needed
Weekend requirements as needed per unit needs
On-call requirements as needed, approximately 3 shifts per 8-week schedule
Case types include General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastic surgery

Active CO or compact RN license required
AHA BLS certification required
Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
Level I or Level II Trauma experience required
Epic charting system experience required
At least one completed travel assignment required
No first-time travelers accepted

Circulate craniotomy cases and confirm competency in specialty procedures across gynecology, plastics, neurology, trauma, general surgery, urology, and ENT
Skills should include procedures such as hysterectomy, craniotomy, lumbar fusion, cholecystectomy, nephrectomy, and tonsillectomy among others
Completion of facility-specific training modules required within the first week of assignment
Candidates previously employed by UCHealth or its affiliates within the past two years will not be considered
Travelers who completed a full year on assignment at this facility must wait at least one year before being rebooked
Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract, with blackout periods during select weeks in September, October-November, November-December, and December-January
No blocked scheduling requests permitted
Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility may be considered for the position
