About this role
The Trinitas Intensive Care Unit is a closed 25-bed unit supporting medical surgical cases with a variety of life-threatening needs. Our care management consists of care bundles based on evidence-based practices that are executed with compassion and care. Our intensive care nurses work with all patients and their families to create a healing, humane, and caring environment while focusing on patient advocacy.
Requirements
Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing
I.V. certified from an approved facility or complete I.V. certification within 90 days of hire
Current American Heart Association BLS certification
ACLS upon hire or within 6 months of start date
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (strongly preferred)
At least 1 year ICU experience or 1-2 years med-surgical/telemetry experience or Post-ICU and/or High Acuity Acute Care experience
Prior patient care experience
Comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC
