Summary
This position involves providing compassionate, high-quality inpatient nursing care, assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The RN is responsible for performing treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures, evaluating intervention effectiveness, and addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing activities to promote safety, patient satisfaction, and adaptive responses.
- Coordinate patient care, including education, discharge planning, and family support throughout hospitalization.
- Provide direct care, administer treatments, and respond to patient responses by revising care plans as needed.
- Collaborate proactively with physicians, ancillary staff, and team members to resolve patient needs.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice decision-making.
- Engage in quality and safety initiatives, contributing to departmental and organizational improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
Must graduate from a specialty nursing training program, with a focus on compassionate patient care, teamwork, and safety. Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaborative skills are essential.
