Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care as an ICU RN Lead during night shifts (3x12), supervising bedside staff and coordinating care plans
- Monitor and respond to critical patient conditions, perform complex assessments, and implement interventions per unit protocols
- Administer medications, titrate therapies, and interpret monitors under physician orders; coordinate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and ancillary teams
- Ensure accurate documentation, care planning, and compliant handoffs during shift changes; participate in daily rounds and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
- Maintain patient safety and quality standards, including infection control, critical event management, and escalation of changes in condition to the charge nurse or physician
- Demonstrate supervisory skills, support training of new staff, and uphold unit policies and evidence-based practices
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Minimum 3 years ICU/critical care nursing experience with ICU work in the submitted unit specialty within the last 3 months

AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS; AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS; AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS (all required)
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills (required)
- Five years of technical experience (preferred)
- Master’s Degree (preferred)
- Ability to work night shifts on a 3x12 schedule; travel assignment; willingness to relocate to Sonora, CA if applicable
