We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical for Atlanta, Georgia.

The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the relevant specialty, strong medical-surgical nursing skills, and the ability to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an acute hospital setting.

Job Responsibilities

Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and recognize changes in clinical status.

Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and facility protocols.

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow patient safety and infection prevention standards.

Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and ongoing care.

Adapt to changing unit needs and maintain safe nursing practices throughout the shift.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the relevant specialty .

Current AHA BLS certification – required.

NIH certification – required.

AHA ACLS certification – preferred.

Eat Buford Highway, North Highland, Westside Provisions, or Decatur’s square—eight Michelin stars and lemon-pepper-wet wings in one metro. Housing is not cheap: listings near $425,000, in-town condos from the $400,000s, Ellenwood and South Fulton the first-buyer math, rents around $1,540. You will likely own a car. Mild winters and patios from March into December are the pitch; traffic, uneven schools, and pocket-level safety are the tradeoffs. Live next to the hospital, not 40 miles out.
