Certified Nursing Assistant (PER DIEM). As a CNA, you are an integral player in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities include providing direct quality resident care, measuring and monitoring blood pressure and other vital signs, serving meals, monitoring conditions of residents, supporting residents with ADLs such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting, and carrying out routine nursing tasks as assigned by the Nurse. All shifts available, with greatest need on weekends (Friday through Sunday). Per diem shifts only.
Currently certified as a Nurse Aide in New York State
High School Graduate or GED preferred
Currently certified as a Nurse Aide in New York State
6 months to 1-year prior experience in long term care preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Computer skills required
Compassion, patience, and respect for clients' needs and preferences
Ability to adapt to different home environments and work independently while following care plans
