About this role
ICU Registered Nurse (RN). This position is ideal for an experienced, confident ICU Registered Nurse who thrives in a rural critical access setting. The selected candidate will serve as the sole ICU-trained RN on each shift, providing expert care for critically ill patients while supporting the care of medical-surgical patients throughout the unit.
Responsibilities include continuous ECG monitoring and rhythm interpretation, management of ICU-level patients, and collaboration with providers and the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care. This role requires strong critical thinking, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to prioritize and respond effectively in a dynamic environment. Our ICU RNs provide care for a diverse patient population, including those requiring treatment for diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), vasoactive and cardiac medication infusions, advanced airway management, pediatric illnesses and emergencies, substance use disorders, and other medically complex conditions.
