Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

• Weekly pay range: $2,145–$2,354
• Setting: ER travel assignment in a hospital environment
• Education/

NH RN license or eligible, BLS, ACLS; Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Orientation: Up to 16 hours unpaid
• Local candidates accepted at a lower local rate

Responsibilities

• Conduct admission assessments, including past medical history, current status, vital signs, labs, X-rays, and other diagnostics
• Collaborate with the medical team to plan and implement a written care plan under physician direction
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and ensure safety and accuracy in administration
• Document care and interventions accurately in the patient record; maintain patient confidentiality
• Communicate effectively with the care team and involve patients and families in education and decision-making
• Demonstrate sensitivity to diverse cultures, ages, and beliefs when delivering care

Requirements

• Current New Hampshire RN license or eligibility to obtain NH RN license
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification required

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred; graduate from an approved School of Nursing

Experience

Clinical experience preferred; ER/acute care experience beneficial

• Certifications/Professional Activities: Certification in specialty preferred; membership in a professional nursing organization encouraged
• Ability to work in a hospital ER setting and to sustain a 3x12-hour day shift schedule
