Where You Will Work

Atrium Health Harrisburg, a facility of Atrium Health Cabarrus, provides 24-hour emergency care to Kannapolis and the surrounding communities. Our department is equipped to care for patients of all ages, treating everything from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies such as heart attacks and strokes. The emergency department features 14 monitored beds, 5 vertical care spaces, on-site radiology and laboratory services, and respiratory therapists available on-site with expanded services.

Patients benefit from expert care provided by board-certified emergency medicine physicians and the support of Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center, the region’s only Level I Trauma Center, ensuring access to the highest level of emergency care when needed.

We’re Looking For

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

ACLS required within 6 months of hire

1 year of Critical Care (ED, ICU) experience required

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
