As a Registered Nurse (RN), a typical day may include

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, as is prior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC.

About the Unit

3 Heritage – Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) Telemetry Unit

18-bed inpatient unit

3 Heritage is an Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) medical-surgical telemetry unit dedicated to caring for older adults with a wide variety of acute medical conditions. The department emphasizes evidence-based geriatric care, promoting functional independence, mobility, safety, and interdisciplinary collaboration throughout the patient’s hospitalization.

The team is currently pursuing NICHE (Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders) designation, providing nurses with enhanced education and specialized competencies in geriatric nursing and age-friendly care practices.

Like all Heritage inpatient units, every patient room is equipped for continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring, and registered nurses are trained in basic dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac rhythm monitoring.
