26007558 Registered Nurse (RN) LDRP Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Allen, 1105 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas, 75013 Work hours: Full Time, 36 Hours, 7:00pm – 7:00am Mom/Baby Department Highlights Level II Maternal Designation with Level II NICU Certified Nurse Midwife Hospitalist Based Model 8 LDRPs, 5 Antepartum Rooms, 2 Operating Rooms 40 – 45 deliveries per month Small team focused on BIG teamwork! Here’s What You Need Diploma in Nursing or Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required BSN preferred One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program. One year of Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator, and coordinator for quality patient care BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent care and maintained quarterly required and CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 90 days and maintained annually required and NRP – Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days and ACLS – Advance Cardiac Life Support within 90 days required and NRPA – Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days required What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Intervenes as appropriate Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers. Requirements

  • Diploma in Nursing or Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required
