PRN Registered Nurse Immunizer – Houston Clinics for Seniors

We serve assisted living, memory care, and independent living communities through structured, repeatable clinic workflows designed to be efficient, professional, and low-burden for community staff.

We are currently hiring experienced Registered Nurses for Houston-area clinics scheduled this September, October, and November. There will be more clinic opportunities in the Spring (March-May) and next Fall (September-November)

This role is ideal for nurses who are confident immunizers, enjoy working with older adults, and appreciate well-run, organized clinic environments.

Compensation

$47 to $50 per hour

1099 independent contractor

Invoices are submitted weekly for work completed that week.

Payment is issued within 5 business days of invoice submission.

Houston Clinic Dates

September 17, 18, 23, 28

October 8

Weekday daytime hours

Most clinics run 7-8 hours

You choose which clinic dates you accept. No minimum commitment required.

What You’ll Do

• Administer adult vaccines according to standing orders

• Verify resident identity and vaccine selection

• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation

• Provide a calm, reassuring experience for residents

• Collaborate professionally with community staff

• Follow structured clinic workflows

Ongoing Opportunity

Kannon Health operates seasonal vaccination clinics each year

• Fall clinics: September–October

• Spring clinics: February–March

Nurses who perform well will have the opportunity for consistent annual clinic work during these seasonal periods.

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license

• Confident, independent vaccine administration experience

• Strong attention to detail

• Comfortable working with older adults, including memory care

• Reliable transportation to Dallas-area clinic sites
