American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring orthopedic, robotics, and endovascular experience along with ACLS certification. Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital with 10 ORs within a facility licensed for 330 beds. 1:1 patient ratios. Procedures include orthopedics, robotics, gynecology, urology, vascular, endovascular, and basic cranial/neuro cases. Uses DaVinci Robot, Endovascular Suite, Neurospine microscope, and hysteroscopy pump. Charts in Altera EMR. 10-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM. No floating required. On-call responsibilities include end-of-shift short call (averaging about once per week) and Friday/Saturday overnight call (7p-7a, averaging 1-2 times every 6 weeks). Holiday coverage on a PRN basis.

Requirements

  • Active RN license (NH or Compact) required in hand at time of consideration
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • Experience with orthopedics, total joints, general surgery, robotics, basic endovascular skills, and urology required
  • Neuro experience preferred, especially for call coverage support
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position
