Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, long-term contract opportunity in Morristown, NJ (07962).

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced L&D RNs, Labor and Delivery Nurses, and Perinatal RNs looking to work in a high-acuity labor and delivery unit alongside an experienced perinatal care team.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive maternal and fetal assessments across labor and delivery
Deliver competent, evidence-based clinical care during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
Maintain complete, accurate documentation of the nursing process and patient education
Respond to emergent situations using appropriate emergency equipment and procedures
Follow National Patient Safety Goals and safe patient handling practices
Support patient and family education throughout the delivery process

Requirements

Active RN license required
Current BLS certification required
Current ACLS certification required
Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills

Schedule

Full-Time | 36 hours per week
Day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) and night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) available
