About this role
Idaho SurgiCenter seeks to hire a local RN on a weekly basis who desires to work in a surgical setting on Thursdays. This position primarily requires providing perioperative care (pre- and post-op), charting, and placing/removing IV's. Interested candidates must have an active Idaho nursing license as well as a BLS certification. We will also require an ACLS certification, but that can be obtained after hire.
Regular staffing hours are 06:00-16:00. That's pretty common, but it varies with the length of the surgery schedule on a given day, with some days being done by 12:00 and some going as late as 19:00. Anything more than 12 hours in a day is considered overtime and is paid at time-and-a-half.
We can be somewhat flexible if committing to that kind of work schedule is a problem, but we are primarily looking for someone who will reliably show up and work a full Thursday.

Worth asking

- Can you walk me through base pay range and differentials?

- What orientation, preceptor time, and ongoing unit support are included?
- How are patient load, floating, and staffing support handled day to day?
