Seeking a School RN for Astoria Blue Feather to perform duties of School Nurse in a Special Education school for children ages 3-5 with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include maintaining student health records, disseminating health information to staff and families, training staff in OSHA and first aid, treating students visiting the nurse's office, interpreting health status of students to parents and school personnel, initiating referrals, providing ongoing health counseling, planning and implementing school health management protocols, serving as resource person to classroom teachers and administrators, and coordinating school and community health activities.
