Nursing tasks – include but not limited to
Processing of patients, symptom assessment, vital signs, med reconciliation, update allergies, pharmacy, documentation
Phone nurse: provide medical advice as appropriate, evaluate and assess symptoms, triage, education re: lab, imaging, other results and recommendations. Complete through documentation of such events
Nurse visits: bp check, lab, medication administration, immunizations, completing tasks and documentation
Nursing skill tasks - IV initiation, monitoring and discontinuing, administration of medication and immunizations, dressings/wraps, EKG, ear lavage, assist with provider procedures
Patient education
Medication prior authorization
Medication refill screening and authorization of medications
