Responsibilities

  • Provide direct ER nursing care, including triage, initial assessment, monitoring, and documentation for adult and/or pediatric patients within scope of practice
  • Administer medications, establish IV access, wound care, and analgesia per physician orders and protocols; monitor patients for response and adverse events
  • Perform ongoing patient assessment, respond to changes in condition, initiate rapid response or code procedures as needed, and document care in the electronic health record
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to manage patient disposition, coordinate diagnostic testing, and ensure timely patient throughput
  • Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and quality standards; maintain patient and family education and support; float to units within scope of practice as needed

BLS, ACLS, PALS, tncc

Experience

1 year ER experience; travel experience preferred

  • Ability to work in a high-acuity ER environment within a travel assignment
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills
