We are seeking an RN with pediatric dental, PACU, PICU, or ICU experience who is not only clinically skilled, but deeply committed to patient- and family-centered care. This PRN role offers flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful impact as part of a team that’s transforming pediatric surgical care through empathy, excellence, and collaboration.

As a valued member of our care team, you will

  • Support children and families before, during, and after outpatient procedures, helping to reduce fear and foster trust.
  • Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments and provide clear, compassionate education.
  • Monitor patients with attentiveness and precision during surgery, focusing on safety, comfort, and emotional well-being.
  • Offer thoughtful post-operative care, ensuring smooth recovery and empowering families with the knowledge they need to continue care at home.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, coordinated care.
  • Document care accurately and contribute to ongoing quality improvements.
  • Participate in our culture of continuous learning and improvement.

What You Bring

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric dental, PACU, PICU, or ICU settings.

Certifications

BLS, ACLS, and PALS (required).

  • A heart for pediatric care and a commitment to compassionate service.
  • Strong clinical judgment and a calm, clear approach to communication.
  • Experience with EMR systems and familiarity with regulatory and accreditation standards in surgical settings.
