Join us at Holy Family Hospital Our two campuses in Methuen and Haverhill have a total of 320 beds, and we are a full-service, acute care hospital offering comprehensive inpatient medical/surgical units, outpatient care, and 24/7 emergency services. We have three behavioral health units: cardiac telemetry, and critical care service lines. Our Haverhill campus offers all private rooms, and our Methuen campus offers a new state-of-the-art catheterization suite and Joint Center of Excellence, named as a Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Distinction+ Center for Knee and Hip Replacement. Position Summary: Key Responsibilities: The registered nurse provides care to patients in a Geriatric Behavioral Health Unit. Under the direction and leadership of the Nurse Manager, the RN is responsible for the delivery of patient care through knowledge of the nursing process and age specific requirements, and by following departmental and hospital policy and procedure. Qualified candidates must The Registered Nurse must have excellent assessment skills, clinical skills, organizational skills, and computer knowledge and charge capabilities. The Registered Nurse must be able to lift, transfer and move patients. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively document care, delegate assignments, relay information, make referrals, and act as liaison between patient, physicians, other hospital disciplines, and community agencies. Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. Certification/ Licensure: Current nursing license in Massachusetts required. BCLS required. Experience: At least 1 year experience in psychiatric nursing preferred. Location: Merrimack Health · 3 West- Geri Psych Schedule: 7:00pm - 7:00am, Nights
