About this role
Townsen Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for Pre-Op/PACU (Evenings). Responsibilities include admitting patients to the clinical area, providing nursing care to pre-operative and post-operative patients, developing individualized nursing care plans, monitoring patient conditions, performing pre-op and post-op calls, and maintaining accurate documentation. Requires current active unrestricted RN license in Texas, minimum Associate's Degree, 2+ years recent experience in a peri-operative environment, and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Physical requirements include ability to lift 50 lbs, carry 35 lbs, and perform repetitive standing, sitting, stooping, walking, stretching, and reaching.
