Registered Nurse Unit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead our nursing team as an Registered Nurse Unit Manager. This is a full-time day-shift opportunity for a clinical leader who enjoys supporting staff, maintaining high standards of care, and making sure daily unit operations run smoothly.
Position Overview
The RN Unit Manager is responsible for the day-to-day clinical and operational oversight of the nursing unit. This position works closely with nursing staff, residents, families, and facility leadership to promote safe, consistent, high-quality resident care.
In This Role, You Will
- Lead, supervise, and support nursing staff while overseeing daily unit activities.
- Ensure facility and employee policies and procedures are followed consistently.
- Provide clinical direction, coaching, and mentorship to nurses and other members of the team.
- Maintain appropriate standards of nursing care with a focus on resident safety and quality outcomes.
- Review resident documentation and medical records to help ensure appropriate and effective care.
- Complete case reviews and monitor compliance with individualized resident care plans.
- Respond to resident and family questions, concerns, and needs with professionalism and compassion.
- Monitor inventory and ensure the unit has adequate medical and nursing supplies.
- Partner with upper management to communicate unit needs, resolve challenges, and improve operations.
- Help foster a positive, collaborative environment for both residents and staff.
What We're Looking For
- Current, valid RN license required
- 2+ years of long-term care experience preferred
- 1+ year of Unit Manager experience preferred
- Basic computer proficiency for clinical documentation and communication
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with residents, families, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
Compensation & Benefits
Annual Salary: $95,000–$110,000
