Cartersville Crossing is hiring Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses for 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. shifts and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Eligible full-time and part-time Care Team Members can earn an additional $5/hr attendance bonus for working their scheduled shifts. We also offer weekly pay with DailyPay available. The team can review the exact schedule during the interview.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care in accordance with your RN or LPN license, applicable scope of practice, current regulations, and facility policies and procedures.
  • Direct and support certified nursing assistants and other assigned nursing personnel.
  • Follow the nursing model to promote holistic, resident-focused care.
  • Ensure assigned nursing personnel follow established policies and procedures.
  • Participate in resident admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and complete assessments as permitted by licensure and scope of practice.
  • Notify the physician, nursing leadership, and the resident’s family or representative of significant changes and document them appropriately.
  • Transcribe and carry out physician orders as permitted by licensure.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
  • Communicate with residents, families, physicians, CNAs, and other members of the care team.

Required Qualifications

  • A current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the practicing state
  • A nursing degree or diploma from an accredited nursing program
  • Current CPR certification
  • Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience is preferred, but not required
