Lynn Haven Dental Specialists is seeking a caring, dependable PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to support our monthly IV sedation days. In this role, you'll be an essential part of keeping our patients safe and comfortable — working alongside our Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon (OMS) and OMS/MD to deliver a calm, positive experience for patients and their families.
This is a PRN (as-needed), 1099 contract position, primarily supporting one to two sedation days per month. Our sedation patients are primarily adults, so experience working with adult patients is ideal. If you're a skilled RN who's confident starting IVs and thrives in a team setting, we'd love to meet you!

*What You'll Do*
- Assist with monthly IV sedation treatment days alongside our OMS and OMS/MD
- Establish IV access and start IVs for sedation patients
- Review patient charts and health histories ahead of each procedure
- Provide and review pre-operative instructions with patients and families
- Review and administer/monitor medications per protocol
- Monitor patient vitals closely throughout the sedation procedure
- Provide and review post-operative instructions and recovery guidance
- Work closely with the surgical and clinical team to ensure patient safety and comfort
*What We're Looking For*
- Active RN license in the State of Florida (required)
- Proven ability to start IVs and establish IV access (required)
- Current CPR / BLS certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification strongly preferred — we're willing to work with the right candidate on certification
- Prior experience with sedation, oral surgery, or monitoring vitals is a plus
- A calm, reassuring, and compassionate demeanor with patients and their families
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and a strong team player
