As a RN Progressive Care Seasonal, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn –whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. You'll help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing. The Progressive Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act with emphasis on the cardiovascular service line. The RN serves as an advocate for patients to support an unparalleled patient experience.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Associate's Degree okay to start, must obtain BSN within 24 months of hire into RN position
Current RN license in the State of TX or compact license
Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
Current ACLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
Acute care experience required within the last 5 years, preferably a minimum of 1 year previous experience
Experience with cardiovascular/telemetry patients, preferred
