This is an outstanding leadership opportunity for a Registered Nurse with behavioral health experience who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while leading and supporting nursing operations.
Responsibilities
Supervise nursing staff and hospital operations during assigned shifts.
Manage staffing and scheduling to ensure appropriate patient coverage.
Provide leadership, coaching, and support to nursing staff.
Assist with patient admissions, assessments, and direct patient care as needed.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and quality initiatives.
Conduct staff evaluations, performance coaching, and conflict resolution.
Support the Director of Nursing with payroll, staffing, and departmental operations.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and promote a safe, patient-centered environment.
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Associate Degree in Nursing or higher.
Leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
Behavioral Health or Psychiatric Nursing experience required.
Strong communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
