- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
- Advise our homecare staff about Medicaid rules and guidelines
- Advise our personal caregivers about medical administration clients
- Validate the personal care duties
- Develop care plan for our clients
- Administer medications and treatments schedules of clients
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards while delivering safe and effective patient care.
- Overall all, make sure the agency activities are in compliance with health standards and regulations
*Skills*
- Proven experience working with diverse patient populations across settings such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, hospice & palliative medicine, and home care.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10), CPT coding, and laboratory procedures.
- Skilled in critical care procedures including ventilator management, airway management, neonatal resuscitation procedures, and trauma response.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or similar platforms for accurate medical documentation.
- Expertise in specialized areas such as ophthalmology (including esthetic laser treatment), infectious disease care, geriatrics (including MDS), behavioral health, pediatrics (including Toddler & Neonatal ventilator care), and occupational health.
- Ability to perform complex procedures such as sonography, gastrostomy tube feeding, gastric lavage, phlebotomy (venipuncture), specimen collection/processing, and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent patient assessment skills with a focus on acute pain management and chronic condition support; experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities is highly valued.
