Average daily census of 30 with 22 rooms/30 beds
Patient population includes CHF, ECOPD, NSTEMI, new-onset AFib, arrhythmias, sepsis, and renal failure/AKI
Higher acuity unit requiring PCU-level experience
3x12 night shift schedule, 1900-0730
Every other weekend required
Floating required within specialty as needed
Holiday coverage required as scheduled
No pre-scheduled on-call, but may be placed on call in lieu of a call-off

BLS and CPI certifications required
NIH Stroke Scale certification required
ACLS certification preferred
