Responsibilities

  • Assess patients on admission using interview techniques to obtain past medical history, current status, vital signs, labs, imaging and other diagnostics
  • Develop and implement a written care plan under the direction of a physician, coordinating with the care team
  • Deliver direct patient care, administer medications, monitor responses, and adjust care as needed
  • Perform ongoing patient assessments, document nursing notes, and communicate changes to the multidisciplinary team
  • Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care; promote safety and adherence to care plans
  • Ensure infection control, patient safety, and regulatory compliance in a dynamic med/surg–telemetry environment

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse license in New Hampshire or a Compact License
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • BLS certification required; ACLS certification required
  • Approximately 3 years of nursing experience preferred, with strong Med Surg and Telemetry background
  • Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts; capable of functioning effectively in a busy inpatient setting
  • Strong mathematical/analytical skills and excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
