We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Emergency Psychiatric (CPEP) Behavioral Health Adult Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a facility in Brooklyn, NY. This role is vital in providing specialized mental health care to adult patients in emergency settings, aligning with our commitment to exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality psychiatric and behavioral health nursing care to adult patients in emergency room settings.

Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.

Administer medications and treatments following medical protocols.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient support.

Monitor patient progress and document clinical observations accurately.

Respond effectively to psychiatric emergencies and de-escalate crisis situations.

Educate patients and families about treatment plans and coping strategies.

Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

Valid NY RN license

2 years of CPEP experience

Two years of emergency room experience is required

BLS, ACLS and CPI certification

Rate: $82.00/hour Weekly Gross: $2829.00
