The Registered Nurse (RN) in our facility serves as a vital member of the healthcare team, providing compassionate, patient-centered care to residents in a structured environment. This role involves monitoring patient health, administering treatments, advocating for patient needs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality medical and mental health care. RNs in this setting play a crucial role in fostering residents' recovery, rehabilitation, and overall well-being.
Requirements
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
BLS (Basic Life Support) and/or ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
Additional certifications in psychiatric or mental health nursing (preferred but not required)
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a nursing role, preferably in a residential, behavioral health, or long-term care setting
Strong clinical skills with the ability to handle mental health crises and medical emergencies effectively
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
